Pressure on `Iberia` - Employees of the TV company to meet the President today

Due to the situation rearding the TV Company "Iberia", the company representatives will meet with the President of Georgia today.

The President"s Administration states that Giorgi Margvelashvili is especially interested in media issues.

"The President has always been particularly interested in media issues, because democratic development of this country needs toindependent and diverse media environment," said Anna Natsvlishvili, the president"s parliamentary secretary.

Founders and employees of TV Company "Iberia" accuse the government of pressure. They demand an investigation - who and why put pressure on the TV company"s founders .

The head of the news service of the channel recommends the ruling team to summon the Chief Prosecutor and the Interior Minister to the parliament.
